hahah understandable..this summer I'm (finally) going to vienna 6 days so I'm definitely going to visite "Schönbrunn" and everything ! The films with Romy Schneider aren't very accurate but I love them xD And when I was a little girl there was this cartoon series about her (even less accurate of course P)that's when I got interested in her life .
I'm so jealous! I would love can visit the Schöbrunn, see Viena, know more about Sissi! I love the movies with Romy too, and I know the lack of veracity, as they tried to turn her life into a kind of fairy tale, and her life was definitely not a fairy tale. She was a girl so sad, and I have a huge compassion for her.
But tell me more about these comics, I never heard anything about her in comics. Do you still have those comics?
hahaha...yeah the comics ..I dunno don't have them anymore and I was very little back then..You do now about the cartoon series (or what is that called in english? I mean a tv series for kids that is drawn haha I lost the word for itxD)?
Well, I'm from Brazil, so, many of these cartoons were never published here... Today is different! Internet give us so much options and opportunities, but when the item is very old and rare, it's becomes a little odyssey to found it!
ur welcome............. but something happend to the pic. i placed it on my door so ppl who came to my house could see [btw, im not the best artist and it turned out fabulous so i placed it there].my sister today [11 months younger], ripped it off my door and threw it away! all tht was left on the door was her feet! and i even wrote a good haiku about Cleo on the back! all well, i'll draw another one when im in the mood cuz if not in the mood i'll get bored and never finish it.
You know, the flowers is her hair are actually know as 'Sissi's Stars' and were diamond flowers, with the center's being pearls. She gave them to friends and favored ladies-in-waiting. Sissi's obsession with her weight lead to her being diagnosed today with anorexia. She insisted on being sewn into her clothes to show off her waist, which she maintained at a TINY 18/20 inches.
She loved to ride, and write romantic poetry, as well as travel. She couldn't stand the Austrian capitol, Vienna and would be away as long as possible.
