Claudia (Kirsten Dunst) is the vampire child from Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire, 1994's version with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Antonio Banderas.

She was bitten by Louis (Brad Pitt), and Lestat (Tom Cruise) transforms her into a vampire "daughter" in 1790s. 30 years later she kills Lestat, and she and Louis go travel the world in search of other vampires who could give them answers about their species.

In 1870 they arrive in Paris, and find the Théâtre des Vampires, where vampires pretend to be humans pretending to be vampires in spectacles for humans in general. When Claudia realizes that Louis will leave her, she asks him to turn into a vampire, Madeleine, a woman who lost a daughter who look a like her, and therefore pitied about the child, she accepts to be a vampire to be the companion of Claudia.

But that night the three are kidnapped by vampires, and Claudia is sentenced to death for the murder of Lestat being trapped in a pit with Madeleine, so that the two were exposed to the sun and consequently they turn in ashes.

This outfit is from the death scene. A gorgeous peacock blue that represents perfectly well the period of 1870s, when skirts begin to wilt and dresses to have more volume on the back, a rereading of the robes à lá polonaise of the 18th century, which stay in fashion back then.

Yes! That was Kirsten Dunst!
I thinks Interview with a Vampire was one of her first movies... She made Little Women too, with Susan Sarandon, Winona Ryder and Claire Danes... I wanna make some outfit from this movie too, I just choose it yet ;)

when I first just saw this, I was like. Oooo I like that pic, reminds me of "Interview With A Vampire". Then I looked at the name of the pic and I was right. It did come from there. I loved the dress of Claudia's. Wish she didn't have to die though...

WOW! Thanks!!!
I'm pretty glad with an instant recognition of the outfit!
I'm almost a pathological perfectionist, and know that my art was so well like the original is a great compliment to me. Personally, I also love Claudia and I was devastated by her death... And I really love her wardrobe!!!

yeah... especailly after she was able to get Louis to treat her like a lady and not a child like Lestat always did

Yep... It was so unfair!!!
In my opinion, Claudia is the best character of the movie, and kill her wasn't a good end...

well I like Louis (mostly because Brad Pitt was really handsome then-sucker with guys in long hair, at least long hair that is kept neat and tidy) but I also liked Claudia
